Mālo Ni! / Hello
Lālua in Tokelauan literally means the splitting into 2 branches, paths or streams. This is simply to signify our goal to offer photography and videography services. At this stage, we are starting with photography, but follow us as we continue on this journey towards establishing lālua as your go-to photo/video creators.

lālua also has a personal meaning in that the name is inspired by my nephew TeVailālua, and is dedicated to my maternal grandparents, Malaelua & Vaelua.

Mālo Ni! / Hello 

I was born in the beautiful islands of Tokelau, our little 'dot-the-map'. 

I currently live in Australia, where hubby and I call Meanjin/Brisbane home.

The Art of Noticing


Growing up in Tokelau, I was surrounded by the most idyllic scenes of sapphire waters, swaying coconut trees, and danced around amongst the most stunning rays of sunshine. Seeing such beauty all around taught me to recognise it everywhere I go, and after years of experience, I have yet to fail.

Interesting Fact


My actual name is TeRainbow, although my passport just says Rainbow. It was chosen by my cousin who was 3 at the time my mom was pregnant with me.
